A product designer's adventure in architecture
Building design is a species of product design, but on a larger scale. Perhaps one of the oldest, if I may say so. The same rules apply here that are necessary in the world around us. The pleasing sensation comes from good proportions, the right play of light and a certain degree of symmetry. The modern starkness and immateriality of the cleanliness is offset by the objects and furniture of the people who use the building and live in it. Along these lines, I tried to see what kind of interesting house I could design.
